Happiness Is A Sports Bra. Fashion Is Not.

Today was a "meh" day. I stayed up too late shooting pool with Hubby and his brother, and I just did not want to do anything today. For almost the past 3 weeks I have been working a new job. It is semi-outside...I get the heat but not the sun. Think an indoor building with huuuuge garage doors that lift all around you. The humidity has been kicking my derrière every day. Anywho, today was mucho muggy. And I was so not feeling it. (Backstory: I wore a sports bra to bed last night for the first time since I stopped breast feeding. I forgot how incredible they are.) So when I went to get my uniform, I looked at that confounded torture device known as a plunge bra and laughed. Today I would be comfy no matter what. No underwire. No straps digging in. Ahhhh. Bliss. Who cares that I totally had a uni-boob all day. =p

Greetings from the Domestic Godess!

We are all moved in. I have been through 2 AVON campaigns and done pretty decent. The short one's First birthday went swimmingly. I interviewed for a job today that I'm 99.9% sure I will get. Life is good. =)
I am a hot mess. I did not sleep last night except for a 1 hour nap at 6:15am. Then the short one had her very first dentist appointment...which surprisingly went off without a hitch. She loves the attention, the oohing, the ahhing. What a little ham. After that we came home to Daddy and I cleaned. And cleaned. And cleaned some more. *sigh* Then I napped for another hour. And then I went to my job interview. It took a whopping hour and a half. So I pranced away from there to pee in a cup to complete the application process. So I finally return home...then I head out again to take my brother-in-law to work...which worked out fine because I had to go to the Post Office anyway. When we finally got there, the short one and I ended up being the 2nd to last let in the door. *relief* We hit up the UPS store on the way home to make a copy, and then we finally made it home. Ahhhh. But wait! Don't sit down just yet! I made a fantastic meal of spaghettios for dinner, with the crackers that are half pretzel as the appetizer, of course. Om nom nom. Bath. Diaper. Jammies. *rest* Hubby then made his grand reappearance from his journey to ye olde movie theater. I hopped on the laptop while he had child duty. =p Then he reminded me of my final commitment of the day...school. -.- So I changed short one's diaper (Thanks for the deuce sweetheart. Mommy loves you too!) and put her to bed. And what awaited me at school? A fat pile of boredom. I got an hour and a half...and spent the whole time in a product seminar/demonstration. At least it was easy peasy. I got to turn the lights on and off. That's a pretty important job. It requires skillz. *nods*
And now I am homey homey home again. <3 Why am I still in my scrubs? At least short one's teething seems to have let up for the night. *happy dance*
Maybe I will sleep soon. Probably not...but we need goals, right? Hehe.

howdy.

It is currently 5:10am (central standard time). The yummy weather man is on the morning news. =) I have not slept yet. Why? Today is the first day of a very long week. A friend is coming home with hubby to watch our stockpiled episodes of "Leverage" on our XBOX 360. And I still haven't finished cleaning the living room. At 11am I am meeting with someone to start up my own little AVON side-business. I'm kinda excited. =) I get to be an adult! !!!!!! ! After that I am dropping hubs off at a movie while I run around town turning on the utilities for our new apartment. With kiddo in tow. And, finally, at 3pm hubs and I will sign our new lease. Then I shall do a happy dance. And possibly pass out. But, more likely, I squeal with glee and make a B-line for the apartment. I have a box packed that is stuff to go today. It has cleaning supplies, toilet paper, picture frames, an assortment of pink to decorate the young'un's room, some of her birthday gifts, part of her birthday outfit I have yet to craft together, candles, curtains, curtain rods, and much, much more. O yea. My baby girl will be 1 in March. YIKES. I can't believe a year has already passed. Insanity.
Okay...already had 2 cups of coffee...thinking more will be necessary before I even think of leaving the house today. I suppose I will stop slacking and finish cleaning the living room. That, or pass out. Ooh, the yummy weather guy returns.
